What to Expect
Your Guide to a Relaxing Day at the Ranch

Welcome to your countryside escape! No tickets, no reservations, and no hidden fees—just a relaxed, open-door invitation to come as you are and unwind at your own pace. Here is exactly what you can expect when you spend an afternoon with us:

25 Acres of Space to Unplug: Grab a drink and find your perfect spot. Sit beside the tranquil pond, relax on the lawn, or secure one of our outdoor picnic tables (available on a first-come, first-served basis). If the weather cools down or a shower passes through, head inside to our welcoming tasting room, grab one of our classic tabletop games, and stay a while.

Self-Guided Farm Exploration: You are always welcome to wander the grounds and visit with our animals at your own pace. Feel free to explore the entire farm—whether that means taking a peaceful stroll through our walnut grove and pawpaw orchard, heading down to the pasture fence lines to watch our magnificent yaks grazing beneath the pecan trees (if you listen closely, you might just hear them softly grunting to one another!), saying hello to our two friendly Kunekune pigs, or reaching out to pet our sweet Babydoll Southdown sheep through their pasture fence.

Family-Friendly Spaces: We love welcoming families and guests of all ages to experience the ranch. The little ones will love our dedicated, nature-inspired children's play area, which is thoughtfully designed to promote creative play and imagination in the fresh air. Because we are a working farm with livestock and a beautiful open pond, we remind our guests that children must be supervised by an adult at all times.

Craft Wine & Local Eats: Pull up a chair and enjoy a guided tasting, a self-guided flight of our signature craft wine, or simply a glass of your favorite selection. To pair with your drinks, our very own Grill and Graze food truck is on-site serving up a delicious menu.

Weekly Events & Highlights: There is always something fun happening here. Join us for a lively evening of Hit List Bingo, or bring a team for our community Trivia nights, which proudly benefit local charities. Depending on the season you visit, you might catch our fragrant summer lavender harvest, autumn pawpaw and persimmon picking, or our winter pecan harvests. We also love celebrating throughout the year with special community gatherings, from milestone anniversary events to annual traditions like Woolly Weekend in late August.

Good to Know Before You Arrive:

  • Admission & Parking: Always 100% free. No reservations or planning ahead required for regular visits.

  • Seating: All indoor tasting room tables and outdoor picnic tables are entirely first-come, first-served.

  • What to Wear: We are a working farm! We highly recommend comfortable, closed-toe shoes so you can easily explore the grass and paths.

  • Outside Food & Drink: To support our winery, food truck, and beverage offerings, outside food and beverages are generally not permitted. Exceptions are gladly made for infants, allergies, and specific dietary or medical needs. (Please see our full FAQ section in Box 4 for our complete, detailed policy!)
