Celtic Samhain (pronounced SOW-en) Harvest Celebration

What do Woolly Yak Ranch and the Celtic nations have in common?

Harvest. Shaggy animals. Good food. And an excellent reason to celebrate!

Still celebrated today, Samhain—pronounced SOW-en, like “cow”—has roots stretching back centuries. It marks the end of the harvest season and the beginning of winter, when livestock traditionally returned from their summer pastures. Samhain also helped shape many of the Halloween traditions we know today.

Around here, we have plenty of harvest, plenty of woolly animals—and we never pass up an opportunity to celebrate with good wine, Irish dancers and Babydoll sheep!

Join us October 24 & 25 from 11 AM–7 PM for our Celtic Samhain Harvest Festival!
